Job Description

Weighbridge Administrator 

Role: Weighbridge Administrator 
Salary: £32,500 (£12.50ph)
Hours: 6.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday 

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Business Support division are excited to be recruiting the role of Weighbridge Administrator for a business based in Milton. You will be responsible for vehicles coming in and out of the site and all compliance needed, along with the Site Manager.

The role of  Weighbridge Administrator will include:

  • Weigh in/out vehicles and enter details into the system
  • Monitor Waste Transfer Notes and EWC code usage
  • Assist the site manager with reports, site safety inductions, and traffic control
  • Help manage the weighbridge operation eg. health & safety procedures, legislative requirements, and environmental permits
  • Record and report all accidents, threats and rule breaches
  • Handle customer and supplier queries 
  • Verify contractor documents and conduct site inductions
  • Assist with site administration, purchasing, and front-of-house operation

The ideal Weighbridge Administrator will have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in a weighbridge role or similar essential 
  • Experience of health and safety essential 
  • Good customer service and ability to delegate
